The open auction process for the demolition of the Session House, Meerut, and the subsequent removal of all debris/scrap, will be conducted on August 29, 2026, at 4:30 PM in the meeting hall located on the first floor of the Fourteen Court Building. Participants in the auction are required to deposit an earnest money amount of ₹2,00,000 (Rupees Two Lakh)—in the form of a bank draft payable to the District Judge, Meerut—with the Cashier, Civil Court, Meerut, by 11:00 AM. The authority to accept or reject the bid rests with the Hon'ble District Judge. Upon receipt of notification regarding the approval of the accepted bid, the debris of the said building must be demolished and removed, and the site cleared, within the timeframe stipulated by the District Judge.
