Participants in the auction are required to deposit a bank draft of ₹4,00,000 (Rupees Four Lakh)—payable to the District Judge, Meerut—as an earnest money deposit with the Cashier, Civil Court, Meerut, by 11:00 AM. The Hon'ble District Judge reserves the right to accept or reject the bid. Upon receiving notification of the bid's approval, the building's debris must be demolished and removed, and the site cleared, within 20 days from the date fixed by the District Judge.
